Nike Zoom Rotational 3
This is the next in the range of Zoom Rotational shoes. The sole is made from carbon rubber and the outside is made from synthetic leather. This is a fast shoe which has a good consistant feel over a range of surfaces. You can also get a good matched resole from Timpsons (see bottom of page). Typically costs around £70. |

Adidas Adistar
These shoes have a stippled thin carbon rubber sole. They are very light and have a nice comfortable fit. My experience is that the sole wears out quite quickly. You will also have real problems trying to get them resoled with a similar sole. Typically costs around £100. |
There is also a number of other models you can find such as Reebok (global spin), Asics Megathrow and Mizuno (discus/hammer).

This
place does a really good job of throwing shoe resoles.
They give you the option of smooth (like Nike Zoom) or
stippled (similar to the old adistar discus sole).
